Welcome to Richard Franks Family Mediation
After being trained as a Family Mediator by the Family Mediation Council I established my own Family Mediation Office where we cover all areas of the UK. We offer both online and face to face meetings where appropriate helping families in conflict, especially those divorcing or separating.
If you wish to have joint mediation sessions (two family mediators) we can offer these at no additional charge. We can also organise interpreters if required.
We turn your arguments into agreements.
About Family Mediation
Family mediation is quicker, more cost-effective and less stressful than heading to court for your separation or divorce. It gives you control, reduces conflict and helps you to turn your arguments into agreements – ensuring your family stays in control of arrangements over children, property and finance.
Family Medaitors ensure the following key points are met :-
Reduce Conflict - Find mutually acceptable solutions with the least amount of conflict.
Control - Allowing you to retain control of your destiny and to have your say. You make the arrangements so that they suit your family’s unique circumstances.
Voluntary - No one can be made to attend mediation, you can leave at any time.
Cost effective - Quicker, less stressful and cheaper than going to court.
Neutral Mediator - Completely neutral and impartial
Child Focussed - Children are at the heart of the discussions focusing on their needs
Confidential - Completely confidential and cannot be referred to in any subsequent court proceedings
Services
Mediation is a quick and affordable way to reach an agreement that works for everyone involved. You’ll get the personalised attention you need during mediation, with us working hard on your behalf – saving thousands in divorce costs.
We understand that cost is often a concern when making the decision to seek Family Mediation so
we offer competitive rates that work for you.
.
The cost of divorce can be substantial, with an average cost in the UK at £20,000 approximately. Using family mediation these costs are hugely
reduced, the average family mediation costs approximately £1500 which would include three 2 hour family mediation sessions and the majority of the paperwork required.
If you would like to talk about your children for some or all of the mediation you can obtain funding towards the cost of your mediation of up to £500 through the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme which is not means tested.
