About....
Hi, I’m Richard, an accredited Family Mediator.
I’ve experienced a complex childhood and changing family relationships myself, so I understand how difficult separation can be — especially when children are involved.
Divorce and separation are often described as one of the most stressful life events, second only to bereavement.
Alongside many years of professional training and accreditation, I bring life experience, empathy, and a calm, impartial approach.
My role is to support you and your former partner in working towards practical arrangements for the future, particularly where children are involved.
Mediation provides a safe, confidential space to move forward in a constructive and respectful way.

How Family Mediation Works
Family Mediation is a very simple 5 step process

Fees
Family mediation is more cost-effective than court and allows flexibility in how you progress.
Typical duration: co-parenting matters usually take 1–2 sessions, while cases involving financial matters typically take 2–3 sessions, with eligible parents of children under 18 able to access a government voucher of up to £500.
(On average, the cost of using a solicitor, or going to court, will be four times more expensive than using family mediation.)
Where We Work
We have offices across London and the surrounding areas, including Croydon, Lewisham and Bromley to the south, Harrow, Hounslow and Uxbridge to the west, Enfield and Wood Green to the north, and Romford, Ilford and Barking to the east — plus further locations across Berkshire, Kent, Essex, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
For families outside these areas, or who simply prefer to meet from home, sessions are also available online via Zoom — so wherever you are in the UK, we can find a way to meet that works for you.
Below are a few of our locations.
Simply get in touch and we'll arrange a location and format that suits you.
If none of these are convenient for you, please get in touch, as we'll be happy to arrange a meeting at a location that suits you
